Spamhaus researchers investigated spam that directs victims to a typosquatted Ashley Madison website (ashleyrnadison.com, where “rn” visually mimics an “m”). The report highlights the affiliate tracking string (offer_id=8&affiliate_id=1955&affiliate_sub=DLO-8197) as actionable information to identify and block the abusive affiliate; the investigation used a US-based IP to access the fake site.
