Spamhaus announced the launch of the Exploits Block List (XBL), a realtime DNS-based blocklist of IP addresses used by illegal third-party exploits (open proxies, worms/viruses with spam engines, trojans) to complement the Spamhaus Block List (SBL) and reduce spam by enabling ISPs to reject offending mail at SMTP time.
