A researcher found that consumer Ryzen CPUs that previously showed TSME support under older AGESA firmware report TSME as “not supported” when AGESA 1.2.7.0 is used, while PRO CPUs continue to support the feature; motherboard vendors’ testing implicated the AGESA firmware and AMD has not clarified whether the change is an intentional policy to restrict TSME to PRO chips or an unintended regression.
