Researchers found a way to hijack devices through Zoom screen sharing

Researchers from A Security disclosed vulnerabilities in Zoom's real-time annotation protocol that could be discovered using publicly available AI models and exploited to silently take over devices involved in screen sharing. The flaws affected Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android; the researchers reported the issue in early June and Zoom has released fixes. The finding highlights that AI lowers the barrier to discovering impactful bugs in complex, closed-source features.
