Threat Modeling Industrial Environments Using A Virtual Factory (Part 1)

Team82 describes constructing a realistic virtual factory environment using Factory/IO synchronized with a physical ControlLogix PLC, programming the PLC via RSLogix5000, and building an Ignition-based HMI to visualize and monitor the process; the environment is intended as a threat-modeling testbed to help defenders understand OT dependencies and prepare for attacks (attack techniques are promised in a subsequent part).
