BAYC Discord Hack Connections

This report documents a coordinated NFT phishing campaign leveraging compromised Discord and Twitter accounts that has resulted in at least 30 linked incidents and approximately $1.3M in stolen assets. On-chain analysis ties major incidents (notably Bored Ape Yacht Club and Beeple) to common wallets—especially 0xd869 and 0x5bC1—with funds consolidated and laundered via Tornado Cash; the report maps transaction flows, reusable phishing-site templates, and outlines potential attacker TTPs and open questions about targeting and sophistication.
