On Dec 26, 2023 Telcoin lost approximately $1.25M after attackers exploited un-initialized proxy wallet contracts; the attacker initialized vulnerable wallet instances and transferred the held Telcoins. The issue arose from a proxy implementation bug in wallet contracts that was not covered by CertiK's audit of the token contracts, as the wallet proxy implementation was out of audit scope.
