On 22 January 2024 Concentric.fi suffered a targeted social engineering attack that compromised an admin wallet, enabling the attacker to transfer ownership and upgrade vault contracts to malicious implementations; the attacker then minted and burned LP tokens to withdraw ERC‑20 assets, swapped them to ETH, and consolidated funds to wallets linked to the OKX and UnoRe exploiters, resulting in approximately $1.85M (~780 ETH) in losses.
