Post Mortem: Safemoon

### Executive Summary On March 28, 2023 the Safemoon token contract was exploited after an attacker abused a public burn function in a newly upgraded, unaudited contract, draining funds from the liquidity pool and causing an estimated $8.9M loss; the issue stems from improper access control and the upgrade was out of the prior audit scope.
