On 16 February 2023 Platypus Finance suffered a flash-loan exploit that abused a logic flaw in the MasterPlatypusV4 emergencyWithdraw solvency check, enabling an attacker to mint and withdraw ~40M USP and steal approximately $8.5M in user funds; about $2.4M was later recovered, $6.08M remained in the attacker contract, and authorities reportedly arrested two suspects.
