CIS Benchmarks January 2024 Update

CIS announced December updates and new releases of CIS Benchmarks and Build Kits across platforms including Amazon Linux 2, CentOS 7 (final), Cisco NX-OS, Google Kubernetes Engine, Windows Server 2019 STIG, Oracle Database 19c, Oracle Linux 7 (final), Oracle Solaris 11.4 (final), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 (final), Red Hat OpenShift 4.14, plus new benchmarks for Windows Server 2019 Stand-alone, Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, and Windows Server 2022 STIG, along with a RHEL 8 Build Kit; highlights include hundreds of added/updated recommendations, AAC validation, aligned permissions, and community acknowledgments, with invitations for feedback and contributor participation.
