CIS announces a slate of updated and newly released security configuration Benchmarks and Build Kits, covering technologies such as Palo Alto Firewall 11 (v1.2.0), Oracle MySQL 8.0 Enterprise (v1.5.0) and Community (v1.2.0), Microsoft Azure Foundations (v5.0.0), Google Android (v1.6.0), Microsoft Edge (v4.0.0), IBM Db2 11 (v1.2.0), Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 (v1.0.1), IBM z/OS with RACF (v1.0.0), Windows Server 2025 Stand-alone (v1.0.0), Rocky Linux 10 (v1.0.0), AlmaLinux OS 10 (v1.0.0), Apple iOS/iPadOS 18 for Intune (v1.0.0), and FortiGate 7.4.x (v1.0.0). Highlights include new and updated recommendations, resolved tickets, cryptographic and password policy guidance, restructuring for ADMX changes, and alignment across mobile platforms, along with a call for community contributors.
