Acronis Cyberthreats Update, August 2025

Acronis reports a wave of CRM-targeting attacks attributed to the ShinyHunters group that used social engineering and a malicious Salesforce Data Loader tool to exfiltrate large volumes of customer data from major firms (notably Qantas and Allianz), resulting in multi-million-record exposures; the update also provides July endpoint malware telemetry and recommends Acronis detection and remediation products.
