Proofpoint Adds Ability to Dynamically Apply Granular Security Controls

Proofpoint announced new and forthcoming human-centric security capabilities at its Protect conference, including Adaptive Information Protection for real-time, risk-based access controls; tools to prevent sensitive data sharing with generative AI; organizational security posture assessments; Collab Protection via the ZenWeb browser extension; and an enhanced ZenGuide training platform with personalized learning paths. Built on Nexus detection and Zen access controls, these offerings aim to reduce vendor sprawl and mitigate risks related to SaaS sprawl, phishing, and data handling through granular, AI- and behavior-informed policies.
