Researchers attribute a coordinated, Kremlin-linked disinformation campaign to Storm-1516 that impersonated legitimate journalists and published fabricated articles on spoofed news sites to spread false narratives in France, Armenia, Germany, Moldova, and Norway; the operation included false claims about nuclear waste shipments, political corruption, and environmental crises, and aimed to influence public debate and elections.
