US seizes domains and infrastructure used in sprawling botnet campaigns

Law enforcement in the U.S., Germany and Canada disrupted four large IoT botnets—Aisuru, KimWolf, JackSkid and Mossad—comprising roughly three million compromised devices used to launch hundreds of thousands of DDoS commands, causing service outages and remediation costs; the takedown seized domains and infrastructure with assistance from multiple tech companies and highlighted the botnets' ability to target residential networks and critical infrastructure.
