BridgePay Network Solutions, a Florida-based payment gateway handling roughly 40 million transactions per month, suffered a ransomware attack that has taken down online billing/payment portals for multiple municipalities and private businesses (e.g., Palm Bay and Frisco, TX). The company is working with the FBI and U.S. Secret Service forensic teams, reports no indication that payment card data was stolen, and restoration efforts are ongoing while no ransomware group has claimed responsibility.
