China continues cyberattacks on routers, this time targeting Juniper Networks devices

Mandiant/Google Threat Intelligence reports that UNC3886, a China-linked state-backed espionage group, deployed customized Tinyshell backdoors against Juniper Junos OS routers (notably end-of-life Juniper MX devices) to maintain stealthy, long-term access to defense, technology, and telecommunications networks; organizations are advised to upgrade affected routers.
