New Android malware hiding in streaming apps to spy on users’ personal notes

Perseus is an actively distributed Android banking trojan hidden in IPTV streaming apps that targets users (notably in Turkey and Italy) to steal login credentials, banking data, and personal notes by using overlay attacks, keylogging, and by extracting content from note-taking apps like Google Keep and Evernote; it builds on leaked Cerberus code and represents an evolving mobile malware threat.
