Georgia healthcare company data breach impacts more than 620,000

A ransomware-linked breach at ApolloMD exposed sensitive records for 626,540 individuals after attackers accessed the company’s IT environment between May 22–23; compromised data included names, dates of birth, addresses, diagnoses, treatment and Social Security numbers. The Qilin ransomware gang claimed the attack, and reporting indicates the group has repeatedly targeted healthcare organizations and publicly posted victim data.
