Maryland investigating cyberattack impacting transit service for disabled people

The Maryland Transit Administration is responding to an ongoing cybersecurity incident that has caused unauthorized access to systems used for its Mobility paratransit service, preventing scheduling of new trips and potentially affecting real-time information and call-center operations. Core bus, subway and light-rail services remain operational, previously scheduled Mobility trips will be honored, and the agency is working with cybersecurity firms and law enforcement while no group has claimed responsibility.
