Ukrainian media outlets now among 'priority targets' for Russian hackers

Russian-linked hackers are increasingly targeting Ukrainian media with a range of cyber operations — large-scale DDoS (one peak ~200,000 requests/min), phishing campaigns aimed at seizing broadcaster platforms, website defacements, destructive malware and disinformation — while Ukrainian agencies report hundreds of successful media-targeted attacks and have neutralized thousands of incidents since the invasion; several attacks were contained, but media infrastructure has also been degraded by concurrent kinetic strikes.
