Hack at Dutch gym chain Basic-Fit exposes customer data in several EU countries

Basic-Fit disclosed an unauthorized download of member data affecting around 1 million customers across several European countries; compromised information includes names, contact details, dates of birth, bank details and membership records. The company says the intrusion was detected and stopped within minutes, passwords and identity documents were not accessed, and affected members and regulators have been notified.
