Indicted pair of foreign nationals were behind swatting attack on CISA director

Recorded Future reports that two European men, Thomasz Szabo and Nemanja Radovanovic, allegedly conducted a multi-year swatting campaign targeting about 100 U.S. individuals — including CISA Director Jen Easterly, members of Congress, and senior officials — by placing hoax 911 calls to provoke armed police responses; a federal indictment unsealed charges them with conspiracy and numerous counts of making threats, and officials warn swatting endangers lives and wastes law enforcement resources.
