Threat Score
Arizona’s court system suffered a cyberattack beginning September 24 that allowed criminals to access and copy backup court files, exposing roughly 1.3 million individuals’ records (including names, Social Security numbers and case numbers) from the FARE program and more than 150,000 foster care reports dating back years; investigators believe the breach began with a phishing email and the incident did not involve a ransom demand.
