Manchester Airports Group disclosed a cyberattack that exposed personal data for about 8.7 million customers across Manchester, London Stansted and East Midlands airports affecting car park, lounge, Fast Track bookings and in‑airport Wi‑Fi sign-ups; exposed data includes email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle registrations and postcodes. MAG says no payment card data was stored or exposed, has restricted access to affected systems, engaged outside cybersecurity specialists, notified authorities, temporarily suspended its Manage My Booking service and warned customers to be alert for phishing.
