Prudential revises breach notice to say 2.5 million affected by February incident

Prudential disclosed a cybersecurity incident from February 4, 2024 in which attackers gained access to company IT systems and exfiltrated personal data; initial filings reported 36,545 affected (including driver's license/ID numbers) and later filings revised the total potentially impacted to 2,556,210 individuals.
