Ukraine’s state railway restores online ticket sales after major cyberattack

Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukraine’s state railway operator, suffered a “systematic, complex, and multi-layered” cyberattack that knocked its online ticketing services offline for ~89 hours, forcing increased manual processing and additional station staffing; services were restored and no sensitive data breach has been reported, while investigators and external partners (including Kyivstar and the Ministry of Justice) assisted in recovery.
