CDK expects car dealership system outage to last until at least June 30

A ransomware attack attributed to the BlackSuit group disrupted CDK Global’s systems, affecting over 15,000 car dealerships in North America and impairing sales, payroll, repairs and other operations; CDK is negotiating with the attackers and plans limited system restorations by June 30 while some partners have disabled access and several dealerships have reported the outage to the SEC. Data access by the attackers remains unknown.
