Alleged Scattered Spider member turns self in to Las Vegas police

A suspected member of the Scattered Spider cybercriminal organization surrendered to Las Vegas police and was charged for alleged ransomware and extortion attacks against multiple casinos between August and October 2023, incidents linked to outages and the theft of millions of customers' and employees' personal records and resulting in large financial losses. The report also notes the group's later attacks across airlines, insurance, and retail, and recent arrests and prosecutions of other suspected members.
