Watchdog finds MrBeast improperly collected children’s data

CARU concluded that MrBeast/Feastables collected children’s personal information (names, phone numbers, addresses, emails) via sweepstakes and pop-ups without parental consent, potentially violating COPPA, and shared contact details with third parties; in response, MrBeast/Feastables worked with CARU to overhaul data collection and advertising practices and stated it would consider CARU’s concerns in future advertising.
