FBI touts another ShinyHunters arrest in response to data breach

The FBI has arrested additional suspected members of the ShinyHunters cybercriminal group after the gang breached and defaced the FBIjobs.gov domain and exfiltrated highly sensitive records for nearly every FBI employee and thousands of partner police officers. Law enforcement traced the intrusion to an unpatched contractor system and/or an Oracle software vulnerability, leading to multiple international arrests, takedowns of the group's infrastructure, and ongoing disruption of their operations.
