Virginia man found guilty of deleting 96 government databases

Sohaib Akhter, a former employee of a company that provides services to dozens of U.S. federal agencies, was convicted for conspiring to commit computer fraud, trafficking a complainant’s password leading to unauthorized email access, and for deleting 96 government databases and destroying evidence after being fired; the company reportedly serves more than 45 federal agencies including the EEOC, and Akhter faces up to 21 years in prison.
