US offers $5 million for info on North Korean IT workers involved in job fraud

U.S. authorities allege a coordinated scheme in which North Korean IT workers, using false personas and stolen identities facilitated by a U.S. national and other operators, obtained remote employment at hundreds of U.S. companies, laundered paychecks, and generated at least $6.8M to benefit DPRK weapons programs; arrests, charges, sanctions, and an FBI alert followed.
