The University of Illinois Chicago College of Medicine experienced a ransomware attack attributed to the Booba group, which claims to have stolen 344 GB of data and temporarily made some college systems unavailable; the university says the main network and patient care were not affected, affected systems have been restored, law enforcement has been notified, and an investigation is ongoing.
