Russian vodka producer reports disruptions after ransomware attack

Novabev Group (owner of the WineLab retail chain) suffered a ransomware attack that disabled POS systems and online services, forcing more than 2,000 WineLab stores across Russia to close for days; the company reports a ransom demand it declined, investigations are ongoing, shipments and customer pickups were halted, and there is no confirmed customer-data compromise so far.
