Background check and drug testing provider DISA Global Solutions reports data breach

DISA Global Solutions disclosed a 2024 data breach that affected over 3.3 million current, former and prospective employees of its customers. The company says the incident, traced to February 9 and discovered April 22, involved external “hacking” and may have exposed names, Social Security numbers, driver’s license and other government IDs, and financial account information; DISA reports no known misuse and is offering Experian credit monitoring to affected individuals.
