Sedgwick confirms cyber incident affecting its major federal contractor subsidiary

Sedgwick Government Solutions, a subsidiary of claims administrator Sedgwick that serves multiple U.S. federal agencies, is investigating a cybersecurity incident after the TridentLocker ransomware gang claimed to have stolen 3.4 GB of data from an isolated file transfer system; Sedgwick says the subsidiary is segmented, no wider Sedgwick systems or claims management servers were affected, and law enforcement and customers have been notified.
