French prosecutors, supported by Europol, raided X’s Paris offices amid a criminal investigation into allegations that X and its AI chatbot Grok facilitated the distribution of child sexual abuse material and sexually explicit deepfakes (including of minors); Elon Musk and CEO Linda Yaccarino were summoned for voluntary interviews and employees called as witnesses, though no charges have been filed.
