Employee benefits platform Paylogix says hackers stole financial and health data

Paylogix, a benefits-management firm, disclosed a fall cyberattack that resulted in the theft of sensitive personal and financial records for tens of thousands of people (including SSNs, passport numbers, medical and insurance data); investigators found data exfiltrated between Nov 13–18 and the Akira ransomware gang added Paylogix to its leak site in January, prompting state breach notices, law enforcement notification, and class-action litigation.
