Anthropic Mythos and the Reachability Problem in Identity Attack Paths

This report argues that next-generation AI models (e.g., Mythos) will compress the time and effort required to discover and weaponize vulnerabilities, making footholds cheaper and more common; therefore defenders should prioritize identity attack path management—mapping identity relationships, reducing delegated privileges, and prioritizing remediation based on reachable consequence rather than raw vulnerability counts.
