Researchers observed that parked domains and zero-click (direct-search) parking have been abused at scale to distribute phishing, scams, and malware: sophisticated operators run thousands of typosquat and expired domains that perform device fingerprinting and geolocation-based redirection through traffic distribution systems and fast-flux DNS, routing real users to deceptive pages and Trojan attachments while presenting benign pages to scanners and VPNs.
