EY Data Breach – Hackers Gain Access to IT Support System and Download Documents

Ernst & Young disclosed that an unauthorized third party breached a third‑party IT support ticket platform used by its IT staff and, between March 28 and April 12, 2026, downloaded attachments containing client tax and financial information; EY detected anomalous activity on April 23, engaged investigators, notified authorities, and reported no current evidence of misuse.
