Trellix Source Code Breach – Hackers Gain Unauthorized Access to Repository

Trellix disclosed an incident where unauthorized actors accessed a portion of its internal source code repository. The company has retained external forensic specialists, notified law enforcement, and currently reports no evidence that the code release pipeline was compromised, that source code has been exploited in the wild, or that customer-facing products were tampered with; it plans to share further technical details after its investigation.
