Pwn2Own Vancouver 2024 concluded with researchers uncovering 29 zero-day flaws and receiving $1,132,500 in payouts; Manfred Paul was named Pwn Master and multiple teams demonstrated high-impact exploits (RCE, sandbox escapes, guest-to-host escapes, and vehicle CAN BUS control) against Windows 11, virtualization platforms, browsers, and a Tesla ECU using bug classes such as UAFs, out-of-bounds reads/writes, race conditions and uninitialized variables.
