CISA Added Palo Alto Networks PAN-OS Vulnerability to Its Known Vulnerability Database

CISA has added CVE-2024-3393 — a critical PAN-OS DNS Security flaw where malformed DNS packets can cause unauthenticated remote reboots and potentially force firewalls into maintenance mode — to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog; Palo Alto has published mitigations and organizations are urged to apply them or temporarily discontinue affected products.
