Cisco to Acquire Astrix Security to Strengthen AI Agent and Non-Human Identity Security

Cisco announced its intent to acquire Astrix Security to secure non-human identities (API keys, service accounts, OAuth tokens) and agentic AI activity across enterprises. The acquisition will add discovery and governance, lifecycle management, threat detection and response, and secrets management to Cisco Identity Intelligence and Zero Trust products, enabling SOCs and SIEM integrations to monitor and control AI agents at scale.
