Starbucks Breach – Attacks Allegedly Claim 10GB of Stolen Source Code

ShadowByt3s claims to have stolen ~10GB of Starbucks proprietary source code and operational firmware from a misconfigured Amazon S3 bucket (named “sbux-assets”) and is extorting the company with a public leak deadline; the actor says this is part of a broader campaign scanning and exploiting cloud misconfigurations and reportedly includes firmware for beverage dispensers, espresso machine software, and internal management portals.
