Chrome Security Update Fixes 8 Vulnerabilities Allowing Remote Code Execution

Google released urgent Chrome updates (stable channel versions 146.0.7680.164/165 for Windows/macOS and 146.0.7680.164 for Linux) addressing eight high-severity vulnerabilities — including heap buffer overflows, out-of-bounds reads, use-after-free flaws, and an integer overflow — across WebAudio, CSS, WebGL, Dawn, WebGPU, Fonts, and FedCM that could enable remote code execution and sandbox escapes; users and administrators are strongly advised to apply the patch immediately.
