Windows 11 New Security Feature Denies Unauthorized Access to System Files

Microsoft released preview update KB5074105 for Windows 11 (24H2 and 25H2) that hardens local security by requiring a UAC prompt to access the Storage settings, updates Copilot+ PC local AI models, and bundles a Servicing Stack Update (KB5074104); the release is currently in the optional C-release preview to allow administrator testing before the February Patch Tuesday inclusion.
